THE GIRL IN PURPLE

The Girl in Purple was drawn in Procreate where I explored about drawing digitally when it comes to facial expressions and utilizing texture brushes to create values of shadows. I wanted to experiment with the color choices too where I chose to focus on complementary colors of purple as the skin and clothes while the hair was yellow-blonde to enhance the drawing. Throughout the years, I have always drawn portraits similar to this portrait here. I took this fun opportunity to recreate the digital painting of the girl but more proportionally accurate and giving her a edgy vibe to her overall being.
