JOSEF ALBERS’ COLOR STUDY ANIMATION

This project was a discovery theme of Josef Albers’ color study theories where we animate elements inspired from Albers’ theories. I chose to focus on the Xs that I found from his book that I explored more through out the animation. I selected the colors from the color wheel based on analogous color harmony where the colors for this animation are blue, hot pink, and purple. I wanted my theme to demonstrate the influence that colors have with each other in movement. I utilized this opportunity to expand my animation skills through abstract shapes and transitions. I designed the assets from Adobe Illustrator and imported them in Adobe After Effects.
