Centre Film Festival Week

Towards the end of my Student Design Internship with Centre Film Fest, I worked as a event photographer during the Film Festival Week where I have taken photos of the guests on red carpet runways, Q&As after screenings, performances, and special guest speakers during the Award Ceremony night. I have worked most of the nights where I interacted with many of the guests who visited from around the world and learned about their stories with films. I even had the opportunity to meet the Penn State President, Neeli Bendapudi, our Penn State notable alumni, Gerald W. Abrams, and his children who went on to become great writers in the film industry, J.J and Tracy Abrams. It was also a challenging experience too as I had to act quick with my feet to capture the candid shots of the events happening throughout the week, including changing the settings of my camera and deciding if I should utilize the flash in this setting or not. Regardless, I have truly learned a lot of pursing event photography, especially on the red carpet where it is crucial to take photographs of the most memorable moments at Centre Film Festival Week.
