PROFESSIONAL PORTRAITS
As a Art History Multimedia Marketing intern for the Art History department at Pennsylvania State University, I not only help assist as a teacher assistant with the course, Art History 260: Arts Publicity & Marketing, but I also assist with taking professional headshots for my students. Our class had a career week where the professor discussed about preparing and applying for careers in the creative fields from marketing, museums, designs, and more. I supported the students regarding the resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn workshops and answered the questions they were concerned about.
Most importantly, we had a day where I took headshots of my students where they dressed professionally as if they were going for an interview for the dream jobs. My professor and I set up the production with the lighting and backgrounds as I adjusted the lighting from time to time depending on what they students were wearing. I then edited the photographs to clean up a bit where the students can use their headshots as their LinkedIn profile pictures. My students absolutely loved their photos and were happy to import them as their profiles online.
